Tower Grillage and adaptor Fabrication for WindMaker WTIV

March 04,2025

A tower grillage is a critical structural support framework used in offshore wind turbine installation vessel. It provides a stable and secure base for the turbine tower during transportation, lifting, and installation on a Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV) or barge.

We are honoured to have participated in the fabrication of the tower grillage and specialise adaptors for the WindMaker WTIV. To meet the project’s strict deadlines, we deployed:

  • Two circular milling machines running 24/7
  • Four teams of technicians, working tirelessly—even through the Lunar New Year
  • High-precision surface milling, laser tracker for holes marking, hole drilling, and spot facing
  • Dimensional control using laser tracker and Leica total station

With our cutting-edge machining capabilities and deep expertise in offshore wind infrastructure, we ensure that our machining meet the highest standards of precision and operational safety.
